The Family Justice Center Alliance welcomed friends from New Zealand who were interested in starting a Family Justice Center. On September 22, 2008,  I had the pleasure of meeting Hamene Te Aika-Kopa, the General Manager of Hauora Whanui an arm of Ngati Hine Health Trust which is a Maori non government social services provider in Te Taitokerau in Northern New Zealand, Rhoena Davis a Kaupap, a Maori Advanced Nurse and her husband, Pat Davis a police officer from New Zealand Police Department.
